  Updated installation instructions and other changes for the Beta release.

• Qt for Symbian Developer's Library v 0.8

  There is a new section that describes how to port applications from desktop Qt to Qt for Symbian.

  Minor changes have been made to match the Tower release, including the list of supported Qt modules.

  The list of examples on Forum Nokia has increased.

• Qt for Symbian Developer's Library v 0.7

  This release is a minor update. The main addition is a number of new comparisons in the Symbian to Qt conversion section, namely: CIdle, key events, mouse events, SAX parsing and sockets.

• Qt for Symbian Developer's Library v 0.6

  This release contains updated documentation for the technology preview "Garden" release of Qt for Symbian. The main changes are as follows:

  • The Garden release of Qt for Symbian is based on Qt 4.5.

  • General updates to technical information to reflect the changes since the Temple release including:

    • Updated architecture overview.

    • Additional Symbian scope project file extensions for better control of the generated Symbian makefiles.

  • The Qt Reference Documentation is now included as part of the library.

  • The content has been reorganised since version 0.5 into two sections:

    • Symbian Considerations is intended for all Qt for Symbian developers and contains more information about how to get Qt applications running on Symbian.

    • Porting from Symbian to Qt is intended for Symbian developers.

  • Additional information in the about translating between Symbian classes Qt classes has been added to the Symbian paradigms section.

• Qt for Symbian Developer's Library v 0.5

  This is the initial release of the Qt for Symbian Developer's Library. This release of Qt for Symbian is based on Qt 4.4.
