From S60 5th Edition onwards, the S60 platform supports touch interaction on mobile devices with a touch screen. The touch screen is sensitive to the user's finger and device stylus, which replace or complement the physical keys of the device as the main methods for interaction and input.

The touch UI allows for a different user experience and interaction compared to using a hardware keypad. Using the touch UI is closer to mouse-based navigation on a desktop computer than using the directional keys common in mobile devices. This means that you can emphasize desktop computer design guidelines when authoring your Flash Lite application.
To find out which devices support the touch UI, see Device Specifications at Forum Nokia and filter devices based on "S60 5th Edition".
Note: If you want to ensure that your application is compatible with non-touch devices, create a separate version or interface that uses the traditional five-way navigational keypad.
Most Flash Lite UI elements support the touch UI and tactile feedback automatically.
