Achieving unity in design

Unity is another important element of design. Although there is no way to measure unity, it is typically achieved when all the on-screen elements feel as if they belong together and were formed or positioned with purpose. Just as a product or service with a random, mismatched series of features may feel unbalanced, visual elements that are randomly conceived and positioned feel equally so.
