Graphics

Mobile devices support many of the digital-image formats you may already be familiar with, including PNG, JPG, and GIF. Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is also available for mobile technology, through the use of Flash Lite or SVG Tiny (SVGT). There is, however, a wide range in the level of implementation across devices, platforms, and manufacturers, so to avoid surprises, discuss image formats and capabilities early in the project.
